Wii games have changed our minds about exercise…

Contrary to earlier reports on DietPixie, virtual gaming, such as the sports games on the Nintendo Wii, are not a suitable replacement for formal exercise, say American health and fitness experts.
According to www.sciencedaily.com, old-fashioned childlike exercise is far more beneficial than the faux-fitness offered by gaming consoles. “Virtual gaming is no replacement for real exercise. It’s a place to start, though. Kids can have fun doing it, they can feel a little better about actually trying the sport or activity,” reckons Colleen Greene, the wellness coordinator for the University of Michigan.
