Charlotte Church sings the praises of breastfeeding

http://www.dietpixie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/charlotte_church.jpgYoung celebrity mum Charlotte Church has jumped off the fence to join the ‘breast or bottle’ debate when it comes to feeding eight month-old baby Ruby.

Charlotte firmly believes that breast is best. Speaking ahead of a Welsh Assembly Government drive to promote breastfeeding, she urged young mums to consider ditching formula milk and bottles in favour of the boob.

Charlotte, who’s 21, said: “It was really reassuring knowing that Ruby had extra protection from chest, ear and stomach infections, as well as from diabetes and allergies. On top of that, breastfeeding is free and really convenient - especially in the middle of the night!”
