http://www.dietpixie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/charlotte_church.jpgYoung celebrity mum Charlotte Church has jumped off the fence to join the ‘breast or bottle’ debate when it comes to feeding eight month-old baby Ruby.

Charlotte firmly believes that breast is best. Speaking ahead of a Welsh Assembly Government drive to promote breastfeeding, she urged young mums to consider ditching formula milk and bottles in favour of the boob.

Charlotte, who’s 21, said: “It was really reassuring knowing that Ruby had extra protection from chest, ear and stomach infections, as well as from diabetes and allergies. On top of that, breastfeeding is free and really convenient - especially in the middle of the night!”

This is despite doctors advising all new mums to wait at least six weeks after giving birth before resuming exercise.

Apparently J-Lo is dragging herself out of bed at 4am each day, and knocking out three hours of exercise while most of us are still in the land of nod. She reportedly put on 4st during her pregnancy, which isn’t really surprising considering she was eating for three.

http://www.dietpixie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/katemoss11.jpgAh, spring time… the season of new lambs, fields sprinkled with daffodils and plenty of celebrity pregnancy rumours.

The latest is Kate Moss, who despite getting publicly off her face this week, is apparently detoxing to prepare her body for the rigours of baby-making.

Rumour has it La Moss, who has a five-year-old daughter with Jefferson Hack, is gearing up for another throw of the genetic dice with used-to-be-cool-now-looks-decidedly-like-a-history-teacher Jamie Hince.

DietPixie looking for a new editor

The more observant of you may have noticed it has been a while since we posted a new story.

This is basically because DietPixie currently has no editor. Our former editor, Holly, recently had a baby and understandably found the stresses and strains of juggling the demands of a full-time job, website and motherhood a little too much.

But don’t worry. We are currently in the process of looking for a new editor and the site should be back up and running soon.

Want to throw your hat into the ring? Well, that’s great. We really believe in DietPixie and we want it to be a success.

Just send me an email at david@hecklerspray.com and tell me why you would be a great editor or writer of Dietpixie and we’ll take it from there.
