Eat carrots for a girl, and chocolate for a boy

A new study has dredged up some startling results for expectant mothers or women who are trying for a baby - the types of food that you eat at the time of conception may help to determine the sex of your baby.
“If you want a boy, eat a healthy diet with a high calorie intake, including breakfast,” says Fiona Mathews, the lead researcher from Exeter University. Conversely, it seems that cutting down your calories, and increasing your intake of healthy fruit and vegetables - as all expectant mums should do - makes it likely you’ll be making a baby girl.
DietPixie looking for a new editor
The more observant of you may have noticed it has been a while since we posted a new story.
This is basically because DietPixie currently has no editor. Our former editor, Holly, recently had a baby and understandably found the stresses and strains of juggling the demands of a full-time job, website and motherhood a little too much.
But don’t worry. We are currently in the process of looking for a new editor and the site should be back up and running soon.
Want to throw your hat into the ring? Well, that’s great. We really believe in DietPixie and we want it to be a success.
Just send me an email at david@hecklerspray.com and tell me why you would be a great editor or writer of Dietpixie and we’ll take it from there.
