What’s cleaner - your keyboard or your toilet?

In a recent study commissioned by Which? magazine, the results were pretty disgusting. Would you eat your dinner at your toilet?
No, we thought not - and at DietPixie we pride ourselves on our sparkling loo. But we don’t give a second thought to sitting and eating cake whilst hunched over our laptops - a habit that could have terrible consequences for our health.
Apparently, your toilet is probably cleaner than your keyboard, which is probably harbouring all sorts of nasty bugs and germs beneath the buttons. Most office workers are too busy to stop for a proper lunch, so will scoff their sandwiches and carry on working - dropping crumbs into their keyboard, and also picking up the bugs and germs then transferring them to their food.
Nasty. Microbiologist James Francis tested a number of bog door handles and keyboards at Which?’s London office. Four of the workers’ keyboards were so badly infested with germs that they were likely to have caused stomach upset, and one of these was so disgustingly dirty that it had over 150 times the safe amount of bacteria, and was five times dirtier than a toilet seat. Gulp!
We don’t know about you, but our sarnies are staying firmly away from our computers (and our toilets) from now on.
