Mya’s diet and fitness secrets

The Grammy-winning star tells OK! magazine how she keeps in shape and healthy. And how she eats at least five meals a day.
“It’s diet because I can’t always workout every day.
“Egg whites in the morning, with a piece of fruit. Water is very important all day long. Protein shake for the second meal and a piece of fruit.
“For my third and fifth meal, I’ll have lean fish, green vegetables and water. That’s pretty much it. My fourth meal is the same as meal number two. My dietitian encourages eating five times a day at least, if not six.”
Fitness
Mya, 29, spends four hours a week working out.
“I like to run outside or do aerobic activity for cardio – in place.
“You can use things like chairs or the edges of tubs in your hotel room or your apartment to do dips for your biceps, triceps, pushups, situps. I take bands on the road for resistance that will work your arms and your legs out. I have an ab routine and an arm routine that I abide by when I cannot get to the gym at all.”
