Rihanna shares her diet and fitness secrets

Want a figure like the lovely Rihanna’s? The umbrella warbler’s been spilling the beans to Fabulous magazine.
So what’s the key to her hot bod? Oh arse, “lot of hard work and a lot of running on the treadmill.”
Hard work? But we thought there might be a celebrity super-machine that turns out vacuum packed lovelies with tiny little tummies and splendid legs. Oh well, so what else does Rihanna do to get her Barbie doll figure?
“Cardio is the key. I have a personal trainer who travels with me if we have a big event coming up. I work out every day but I need a trainer to motivate me – I don’t find it much fun working out on my own.”
She’s not shy to boast, either. Her favourite bit is her bum.
“I keep working at it as I want it to be perfect. It makes my clothes look good – and guys like it!”
Swish.
She doesn’t like her legs though. I’ll have ‘em if she doesn’t want them.
Diet-wise, carbs are “the enemy but if I go three days without them, I start getting weak.”
Despite her trainer’s advice, she doesn’t eat small meals every three hours, instead she sometimes only eats once or twice a day. Her meals sound pretty rank though. Eggs whites and pineapple for brekker (whaaaaat?!) with filling hot water and lemon.
For lunch she likes fish and spuds and then fish for dinner again. She hates veg but, clearly, is a big fan of the fish.
Asked if size matters she says not at all. And then proudly announces she’s sometimes a size 2 (US) up to a size 4. Not that it matters, no, not at all.
“Being slim makes me feel better about myself. It boosts my self-esteem, and having a toned body helps with my job because I wear a lot of skimpy costumes. My weight fluctuates, but I don’t weigh myself every day. I’m 5ft 8in and weigh around 9st 7lb.”
