Lollipop woman, Rachel Zoe: ‘I’m not a lady who lunches’

The woman credited/blamed for Celebrity Size Zero fever, stylist Rachel Zoe, has ‘bravely’ allowed Harpers Bazaar to photoshop her from size zero to a size eight.

Gosh, imagine that, size eight. Imagine being so grossly, enormously fat. Wowee. Seeing those pictures was probably like, you know, her Road to Damascus moment or something.

Give me a break. Size eight? I know that it’s an American size eight, but that’s a UK size 10. When did it stop being ‘a perfect 10′? When did we stop trying to look healthy and curvy, and start trying to beat nature, screw healthiness and redefine perfection as something that hurts?

Hmn, around that time Rachel Zoe started to style the likes of Nicole Richie, some would say. Rachel Zoe wouldn’t agree, she says:

“We’ve had Audrey Hepburn, we’ve had Twiggy, we’ve had Veruschka, we’ve had Kate Moss. I’m trying to figure out why I am to blame for skinniness.”

Fiesty old Cameron Diaz has her back, telling the Harpers journo:

“Print that I laughed out loud. She’s more likely to press big dangly earrings or chunky necklaces on you! No one can make somebody do something they’re not already predisposed to doing.”

“I don’t have one client right now who is a size 0, ” says Zoe. “All of my clients have athletic or curvy, healthy bodies.”

As for her own figure, Zoe claims it’s not the she doesn’t eat. Although, when it comes to eating lunch:

“Truth? I don’t. I’m not a lady who lunches; it’s a lull in the day.

“But when it’s me working on my own, it’s 7:00 p.m., and I’ve had coffee and a grapefruit.”

Mmn, filling.
