Can life on Mars (bars) be sustained?

Scouser, Keith Sorrell, says he’s eaten nothing but the chocolatey goodness of Mars bars every day for the last 17 years of working, resting and playing. So far, he’s not dead.
Keith, 37, who is only 14 stone despite consuming around 3,500 calories of chocolate each day, says his addiction began as a school kid.
“All my pocket money went on them and one day I realised I couldn’t get by without them.
“Now I can easily polish off 12 a day, more at weekends. I’m totally addicted.”
Keith told The Sun: “When it’s mealtimes for other people I normally eat two or three Mars, and I’ve always got a bar handy at work.
“I’m big into the Mars drinks as well. There’s nothing better than mixing them with vodka at the weekend. People say it’s bad for me but I drink lots of orange juice and take vitamins.
“I haven’t changed my diet for 17 years and my health is fine.”
Health professionals disagree with Keith’s amateur diagnosis, however, warning that his lop-sided diet could lead to heart disease, cancer and bowel problems.
