Britney Spears’s poor diet is making her nuts, says PETA

Britney Spears is going mad because she eats too many burgers and goes to coffee shops too many times.
So say animal rights group PETA, who have even written a letter to the troubled pop star’s parents to warn them that her poor diet is behind her recent crazy antics.
Spears’ public breakdown has been well-documented. She spent time in a hospital psychiatric ward last month because of her increasingly manic behaviour and was even banned from seeing her two sons for a while.
The court order has since being revised, but her visitation rights are dependent on a psychiatrist being present.
So what’s behind her recent slide? Well, PETA think it’s too much meat and dairy products.
Ok, you may think the suggestion is even madder t
han poor bipolar Britney herself, but the animal cruelty activists quote many studies in their letter to back up their theories.
These include research into how parasites found in undercooked meat could lead to the development of schizophrenia.
It reads: “On behalf of everyone at PETA, please accept our best wishes for Britney, and I hope you’ll allow me to share some information that could be helpful to you in your admirable efforts to look after her mental and emotional health.
“We have heard that Britney asked for ice cream while she was in the hospital. There could, in fact, be a connection between her diet and her mental health problems.
“Numerous reports indicate that in bipolar patients who have hidden dairy sensitivities (a fairly common condition), the disorder can worsen if the patient consumes dairy products.”
So what’s their answer? Well, they say Britney should go vegan.
The letter continues: “We think anything is worth a try for the pop songstress right now but previous photo evidence shows Brit may find it kinda difficult to jump on the vegan bandwagon - she’s a fast food fanatic!”
