Branston’s baked beans get a blingy new makeover

The more you eat, the more… ahem.
Branston’s are feeling the wind of change and giving the age-old baked bean a bit of a revamp, modernising their tins and bringing the image of the most flatulent of foods bang up to date.
Sheraz Dar, head of marketing at Branston’s, said: “Looking at the design, you’d be forgiven for thinking beans are the preserve of old farts. The baked bean aisle in the supermarket just hasn’t kept the pace and it’s no longer appealing.”
According to Metro newspapers, bean consumption has fallen a whopping 5% among the under-30s.
In the fast-food world in which we live, it seems that heating up some beans in a pan is just not convenient anymore, with pasties taking over as a favourite snack.
Hopefully, the revamp will help to make sure that baked beans keep coming out trumps.
Well, you didn’t expect an article on beans without farting jokes, did you?
