Amy Winehouse defies doctors’ orders

Amy Winehouse really does have a death wish.
Not satisfied with hovering up enough drugs to keep the Colombian black economy in business, the Back in Black singer today defied doctors’ advice by lighting up a cigarette – just a few hours after been told she could have the early signs of emphysema.
Ah, what do doctor know anyway? The troubled star was told by worried staff at a London hospital that she had to cut the crack and fags immediately or her health would decline even further.
But apparently was about as well-received as Heather Mills turning up at the Fans of Paul McCartney’s annual bridge meeting by Amy, who promptly lit up in front of the cameras as she left the hospital to go shopping.
Her father Mitch said he was terrified that Amy would fall back into bad habits and even admitted he was worried ‘she would be dead in three months’.
He said:
“To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter’s life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it.
“But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her.”
Certainly, going on today’s events, her father could be sadly true.
Of course, it’s not the first time concerns over Amy Winehouse’s health have been raised.
In fact, she is like a walking medical dictionary – or at least one which you would not want to touch in case it gave you head lice, impetigo or it started shouting ‘Blake, I love you’ in a screechy voice.
